Breathwork for healing
Hello, I'm Rebecca Dennis and I have been practising breathwork, bodywork and holistic therapies for over 20 years. I have trained with many masters and influential teachers from around the world. I am so excited to take you on this journey! It's my passion and vocation to help everyone feel empowered to use their breath to bring about a positive mental, emotional and physical change every day.
For me, breathwork is a way of life, and how we choose to breathe indicates how we feel about life in that moment. The breath is the vital link between our body and mind and affects all the systems in our body. It's free, accessible to everyone at any time and heals on many levels. Yet despite the breath being our life-sustaining fuel, the very source of life, we take breathing – and how it can impact our life - for granted.
In this membership programme, I will be sharing knowledge, techniques, and tips that I have developed and adapted across years of experience in teaching. All of which I've designed to fit easily into busy, modern-day lives and will take you on a transformational journey to breathing and living better.
This is a space for those with experience in conscious connected breathwork who feel ready to go deeper in a safe, supported container online. New members will be asked about their experience when signing up.
Breathing itself is a simple act yet when we consciously connect to our breath with intention and purpose it can have powerful and profound affects. This has often been described as a form of therapy but without having to do the speaking. Rather than going over the stories in our head, we are able to access the subconscious body, unlock stored trauma and rebalance the nervous system, helping us to understand our breathing patterns better, how we navigate life and our relationship to ourselves and others.
I teach a gentle approach to conscious connected breathwork with somatic elements and adapt it accordingly when working with people one on one or in groups . Conscious connected breathwork is not suitable for everyone and it is important you understand the foundations of good breathing first. How are you breathing right now?
Pause for a second and observe where your breath is and how it is moving. Maybe you are sitting at your desk and you notice you are holding your breath? Or perhaps something has happened today to change the rhythm and patterns of your breath and you notice your breathing feels shallow or constricted?
When we learn to breathe with awareness, everything changes.
By tuning into and working with our breath, we can improve how we feel in a few minutes. We can reduce stress, dissolve anxiety, sleep better and boost our immune systems. And when we make a regular daily practice of conscious breathing, positive changes will ripple through our lives.

Breathwork has changed my life and I've witnessed it change the lives of many others.
My mission is to help as many people as possible to access the benefits of breathwork in an affordable way. The Breathing Tree membership is centred on this ethos. Members can join regular, live breathwork sessions and access an exclusive library of guided exercises and masterclasses. The whole experience is expertly designed to help everyone harness the life changing power of the breath. And if purse strings are tight right now, concessions and free places are available.
In the Indigenous language Quechua, the word 'anyi' means 'all things in right balance'. This includes reciprocity with nature because nature is part of us; it's the source of life and of everything that keeps us alive and nurtures us. It is our duty to reciprocate. When we take from the earth, we must also give back, and by respecting the world around us, we come to understand that there is no separation. We are all part of this rich tapestry. This is the ethos that sits at the heart of my work and the heart of this programme.
The Dalai Lama said, 'As you breathe in, cherish yourself. As you breathe out, cherish all beings'. It can feel counter-intuitive but we must first nurture ourselves before we can give back.We make the biggest difference when we look after ourselves. And when we do, our capacity for looking out for life, for giving and receiving, increases.

Live online sessions
It's great to bolster your practice with expert sessions. We have created a space where we can breathe and practise together. At regular points throughout the month, I will lead you through live breathwork sessions covering a range of themes and techniques.
Guided exercises
Members have access to an exclusive library of guided breathwork exercises covering a range of topics.
These exercises are designed to help build and integrate a simple and accessible breathwork practice into day to day lives.
Member exclusives
This is more than just breathwork. I'll be sharing exclusive 'mind, body and soul' masterclasses designed to expand and deepen a breathwork practice. Members will receive discounts for Breathing Tree retreats, workshops and events.
About the guided exercises
The membership library has been carefully curated drawing on my experience of working with clients. The exercises are tried and tested and all help improve physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
Refreshed regularly, the content spans the foundations of how to breathe well to using the breath to manage different states as we go about our daily lives. These exercises are suitable for all and will help you sleep better, manage anxiety, stress and emotional upheaval, improve resilience, creativity and performance.
There are also more advanced therapeutic breathwork practices for those who have practiced with me at least 3 - 5 times in person or online. To access these we will ask you to sign a disclaimer and/or consult your medical practitioner to ensure these techniques are suitable for you. If you suffer from epilepsy, heart problems, psychological conditions such Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia, Personality disorder etc. these may not be suitable. This is also where we share our exclusive masterclasses, interviews and other content. The library is easy to navigate and can be accessed through a browser or an app, so you can listen anywhere, anytime.
About the live sessions
Suitable for experienced practitioners, the live sessions are a big part of this community experience. We run a minimum of 2 deep dive sessions a month designed to help you unlock all the benefits of a deep breathwork experience. These sessions take you on a profound and restorative journey from the comfort of your own home.
Sunday Service - restore and raise our vibrations
First Sunday of the month, 7.00am - 8.00am
Join me and the Breathing Tree Community in our collective intention to raise our vibrations and take them back out into the world with us. These sessions help clear restricted breathing patterns, reduce anxiety, soothe the nervous system, release negative thought patterns, trauma, tension and blockages. We create space to go beyond the stories. Many of us are looking for answers and in these Sunday sessions we practise letting go of the thinking mind and trusting instead our hearts and intuition to show the way.
Breathe to Heal - slow down session
Every second Monday of the month, 7.30pm - 8.30pm
Slowing down is the fastest way to heal and repair our systems. Start the week practising breathing techniques to help you relax deeply. This session will nourish your immune and breathing systems, help you re-connect to your emotions and let go of what is not serving you. I will share the science of how a conscious breath practice can help reset and improve wellbeing. We will journey into a space between awake and asleep and I will lead you into a profound state of relaxation so you can turn your attention inwards. A place where deep transformation within the nervous system and subconscious mind is possible.

My closing thoughts - breathing through life and reciprocity
Our greatest connector is nature, with incredible underground networks under our feet. Next time you go out for a walk in a forest, consider the forest floor, intertwined with the roots of the trees and a fascinating microscopic network of fungi. Without these incredible networks, we would not be able to breathe so easily. Together, we live in an ocean of air exchanging gases from our ancestors and the dinosaurs. What a miracle life is!

Who can access the benefits? Everyone! All are welcome from beginners and advanced breathers. It is never too early or too late to begin breathwork, and there is a multitude of easy-to-access and safe to use techniques right here whenever you need them.
The Breathing Tree community is growing its own ecosystem, and together, we can nurture and grow. My team and I are passionate about sharing as much of our knowledge as possible. All the way from deep therapeutic techniques where you will be safely held to everyday exercises that you can use confidently on your own.
